Apple’s new app store for iMessage could help brands break free on mobile

The biggest innovation is an app store for iMessage, which will arrive with the iOS update this week. Apple’s messaging play faces plenty of competition from Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat, Line, Kik and others.
